HOW TO MEASURE
measurements for most garments are taken seam to seam flat across the item on an even surface.
shoulder: shoulder seam to shoulder seam (for coats or garments with thicker fabrics, measurements will be taken from interior)
bust: underarm seam to underarm seam
sleeves: shoulder seam to end of cuff
waist: side to side and doubled across for full waist measurement
hips: measured approximately 8 to 9" below waist (fullest part of garment)
length: top of shoulder to bottom hem
sweep (for gowns // full maxi skirts): side to side of bottom hem
please keep in mind there might be a discrepancy of 1 to 2" depending on thickness of fabric.
